Job Purpose
Call centre agents must be committed, driven, results oriented advisers who are able to quote and close sales telephonically. These consultants are not only target and goal driven but are over achievers in delivery of sales results.
Sales Consultants work in project teams which focus on:

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly QUOTE and SALES targets – compulsory
- Quote clients on the phone– comparative quotes from S.A.’s top insurers
- Conclude sale on the phone (minimum of 3 sales per day)
- Adhere to Underwriting Guidelines
- Adhere to Sales Process timelines and requirements
- Ensure all documentation related to the sale are provided by the client
- Keep up to date and fully informed on product comparisons of all products
- Be compliant in all activities in accordance with regulations and standards of all Insurance regulations and professional guidelines and ethics
- Meet ongoing professional development objectives as required by the industry
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Proven track record in the Financial Services industry call centre environment with a knowledge of all aspects of short term insurance
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience in the short term industry
- Minimum of 3 years Call Centre Sales Experience
- Excellent sales record over a number of years (minimum three)
- FAIS and RE5 (Full Qualification) – compulsory
