KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND KNOWLEDGE
3 or 4 years law degree.
Preferably completed articles / recently admitted to practice as an attorney.
Experience in Insurance Law.
Supervise in-house liability claims.
Liaising between the company and external attorneys in respect of litigious matters.
Reviewing claims merit, where necessary.
Responding to ombudsman matters, where necessary.
Establishing a legal department.
Ability to work under pressure.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
